Hi, I’m Matt.

I’m an artist and cook living in Portland, Oregon. I’m interested in history, justice, inclusion, queer politics, food justice, and real, long-term learning.

I’m working on growing my own food, using live foods (think sauerkraut or sourdough), sourcing local goods, and finding ways to promote equity by supporting artisan makers and spending my time putting love into the world through good meals!

My artwork is primarily kilnformed glass and print media. I worked at Bullseye glass for five years both making glass in the factory and as the company’s Lead Technician, developing new types and colors of glass and teaching classes. Before that, I owned a letterpress and photography studio fresh out of college.
